We are pleased to offer this Foundations of Effective Leadership Webinar Series in conjunction with CPS HR Consulting. 

Hiring and onboarding are two of the most important moments in an employee’s experience and two of the most common places where things go wrong.  In Part 5 of our Foundations of Effective Leadership Webinar Series, Hiring and Onboarding, you’ll learn how to hire with intention and onboard with purpose, so new employees can succeed from Day 1. 

We’ll focus on simple, proven tools you can use right away, including defining job competencies, asking effective interview questions, and creating a structured onboarding experience. Whatever position you’re hiring for, you’ll leave with clear steps to make better hiring decisions and help new employees feel confident, capable, and ready to contribute. 

Learning Objectives: 

• Define core competencies for a role and use them to guide hiring decisions.  

• Write and ask behavioral interview questions that reveal past performance.  

• Use a simple scoring method to evaluate candidates more consistently.  

• Create a structured onboarding plan for an employee’s first 30 days.
