DATES AND TOPICS

June 11: Accountability in the Workplace

This interactive session is designed for new and prospective supervisors who want to strengthen accountability as a core part of workplace culture. Participants will explore what accountability truly means and the foundations necessary to achieve workplace accountability. The session begins with an introduction to important organizational development models that explain psychological safety, how different people respond differently to threats and motivators, and the foundations for individual and organizational results. We'll use breakout rooms to connect theory to experience. The next segment introduces a toolbox for holding teams accountable, including tools from project management and lean management. The session closes with the behaviors that form the building blocks of workplace accountability and asks each participant to make a personal commitment to modeling one of these behaviors in the workplace.

Learning Objectives:

  • Define workplace accountability and the conditions that support it.

  • Apply accountability tools and strategies to improve team performance.

  • Model leadership behaviors that strengthen workplace accountability.

July 16: Giving and Receiving Feedback

Giving feedback shouldn’t feel awkward, but for many managers, it does. Whether it’s delivering tough messages or offering praise that actually lands, feedback is one of the most powerful (and underused) tools for driving performance and engagement.

In this session, we’ll reframe feedback from something uncomfortable into something you can use with confidence. You’ll learn how to approach feedback with the right mindset, deliver it in a way that sticks, and seek it intentionally . . . turning it into practical steps for growth, not friction.

Learning Objectives:

  • Use feedback as a tool for performance and growth.

  • Approach feedback with a mindset that supports development, not avoidance.

  • Seek and apply feedback to improve performance

  • Ask for input effectively and turn it into clear, actionable next steps.

  • Deliver feedback that lands and drives results.

  • Focus on observable behaviors, communicate impact, and align on next steps using practical frameworks.

August 14: Coaching as a Management Tool

In today’s workplace, effective managers don’t just direct, they coach.  In this engaging session, you’ll learn how to shift from directing employees to coaching them so they can think for themselves, solve problems, and perform at their best.

You’ll leave with simple, practical tools you can start using right away to improve conversations, boost engagement, and drive results.

Learning Objectives:

  • Use a simple coaching framework to guide effective conversations.

  • Ask effective questions and listen to build insight and ownership.

  • Create a clear, actionable plan to start coaching immediately.

September 10: Leading Through Conflict

This interactive session is designed for new and prospective supervisors who want to move from avoiding conflict to leading through it with confidence and clarity. We begin by exploring how productive conflict lays the foundation for high-functioning teams. Next, participants will explore their own conflict styles. We will look at the productive and destructive tendencies of different styles in conflict, helping you recognize how you typically show up in tense situations and how others may respond. Through individual reflection and smallgroup sharing, you will begin to see patterns in your behavior and experiment with ways to adapt your style to different conflict situations.

The session closes with focused reflection and a personal commitment: each participant will identify one concrete way they will stretch into a different conflict style the next time they find themselves in a difficult conversation. By the end of the class, you will walk away with greater selfawareness, practical tools, and a plan for leading through conflict instead of around it.

Learning Objectives:

  • Recognize how productive conflict supports trust, collaboration, and team effectiveness.

  • Identify personal conflict tendencies and understand how different conflict styles influence workplace interactions.

  • Apply strategies to adapt communication and navigate difficult conversations with greater confidence and effectiveness.

October 19: Hiring and Onboarding

Hiring and onboarding are two of the most important moments in an employee’s experience and two of the most common places where things go wrong. In this practical webinar, you’ll learn how to hire with intention and onboard with purpose, so new employees can succeed from Day 1.

We’ll focus on simple, proven tools you can use right away, including defining job competencies, asking effective interview questions, and creating a structured onboarding experience. Whatever position you’re hiring for, you’ll leave with clear steps to make better hiring decisions and help new employees feel confident, capable, and ready to contribute.

Learning Objectives:

  • Define core competencies for a role and use them to guide hiring decisions.

  • Write and ask behavioral interview questions that reveal past performance.

  • Use a simple scoring method to evaluate candidates more consistently.

  • Create a structured onboarding plan for an employee’s first 30 days.
