Foundations of Effective Leadership: Accountability in the Workplace

We are pleased to offer this Foundations of Effective Leadership Webinar Series in conjunction with CPS HR Consulting. 

Part 1, Accountability in the Workplace, is designed for new and prospective supervisors who want to strengthen accountability as a core part of workplace culture. Participants will explore what accountability truly means and the foundations necessary to achieve workplace accountability. The session begins with an introduction to important organizational development models that explain psychological safety, how different people respond differently to threats and motivators, and the foundations for individual and organizational results. We'll use breakout rooms to connect theory to experience. The next segment introduces a toolbox for holding teams accountable, including tools from project management and lean management. The session closes with the behaviors that form the building blocks of workplace accountability and asks each participant to make a personal commitment to modeling one of these behaviors in the workplace. 

Learning Objectives: 

• Define workplace accountability and the conditions that support it. 

• Apply accountability tools and strategies to improve team performance. 

• Model leadership behaviors that strengthen workplace accountability.
