Are you looking for some new earned income to benefit your animal welfare organization? Sophie's Thrift will contribute $400,000 this year to Licking County Humane Society's shelter operations!
Join us to learn how to get started, what you need to consider, and how to put together a team to tackle this project. Running a thrift store can bring very important revenue to your organization, but requires an investment of time and planning to be successful. Lori Carlson, MPA, and Executive Director of Licking County Humane Society will share how Sophie's Thrift came to exist and how you can get started running your own thrift store. She will be joined by Cassie Lower, the thrift store manager for Sophie's, who will share specific tactics for getting started and running a thrift store.
REGISTRATION FEE
$35 per organization for Ohio Fed members with 6-10 program participants
$45 per organization for Ohio Fed members with 11+ program participants
$50 per organization for non-members
Ohio Animal Welfare Federation is an approved provider of content which enhances professional competence and aligns with the 5 domains of the CAWA Exam specifications. Every hour of training equals 1 CE towards CAWA Recertification.
This webinar has also been approved for Continuing Educational Units by the National Animal Care & Control Association (NACA). National certificate holders can submit for credit consistent with the NACA CEU policy located here.
