Conquering the Onboarding Quest

Do you feel overwhelmed at the thought of a new employee starting?

Adding new staff to your organization is exciting but can also be daunting. Keeping track of training for employees with complex roles or when you are onboarding multiple employees at the same time can be challenging. However, failing to properly onboard staff can lead to confusion, unsafe working conditions and poor performing teams. 

Sarah Peffley, Shelter Operations Supervisor at the Montgomery County Animal Resource Center, will discuss some strategies for creating an onboarding process that provides more clarity and structure for everyone involved in the training process. She’ll showcase a resource library she built to simplify their training and will share how it can benefit other Ohio Fed members as well.
