Virtual Training for Ohio Shelters

with BISSELL Pet Foundation & Tiffany Leader

BISSELL Pet Foundation is accepting new enrollees for their very first state-specific workshop: Compassion Fatigue and Burnout Zoom training with BISSELL Pet Foundation & Tiffany Leader. These trainings are free! All they ask is that you agree to participate and that you attend ALL meetings. 

We are looking for shelters that can send three or four people to the Zoom training that will take place in 8 sessions over 4 weeks. The person or people you elect to send will learn the following:

• Emotional burden types (compassion fatigue, burnout, attachment) & effects 
• Proactive ways to deal with current emotional burden (tools for the brain and body)
• Utilizing the Outcome Formula™ for insights into how their thinking, feeling, behavior, and habits are impacting desired goals and outcomes 
• Utilizing Take a Moment™ practice to build resilience
• Developing a plan of sustainable habits to teach shelter staff 
• Developing an acute emotional burden plan

Each week consists of two sessions: one training and one coaching. During the training session, Tiffany will cover the subject matter. In the coaching session, participants will ask questions related to the material and collaborate in an open forum.

Wednesday, April 2nd: Coaching 

Monday, April 7th: Training

Wednesday, April 9th: Coaching 

Monday, April 14th: Training

Wednesday, April 16th: Coaching 

Monday, April 21st: Training

Wednesday, April 23rd: Coaching 

The shelter staff member(s) you choose for this will need to be outgoing, compassionate, and connected to other staff members. We are trying very hard to keep the session small to promote open sharing and participation. These sessions are most beneficial with full participation!
