This webinar, designed for nonprofit leaders and board members, will focus on the importance of succession planning in nonprofit organizations, current leadership trends, and practical strategies for creating succession plans and leadership transitions.
The webinar emphasizes the critical importance of proactive succession planning for nonprofit organizations. By preparing for both emergency and planned transitions and involving the board and potential successors in the process, organizations can ensure sustainable leadership and continued success.
ABOUT TRICIA
Tricia Stevenson manages BVU's Board CONNECT program, where she prepares and matches business professionals to nonprofit board opportunities. She also provides guidance and consulting to nonprofit boards and staff members in the areas of succession planning and executive search. In addition to consulting, Tricia helps develop nonprofit leaders by managing BVU's Nonprofit Leadership Advancement Program. Prior to joining BVU, Tricia spent 20 years working as a consultant and employee of the PolyOne Corporation where she was involved in their training, human resources, and IT functions. She holds an MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Villanova University. Tricia serves as a Trustee with the Shaker Schools Foundation.

$25 per organization for Ohio Fed members with 1-5 program participants
$35 per organization for Ohio Fed members with 6-10 program participants
$45 per organization for Ohio Fed members with 11+ program participants
$50 per organization for non-members
Ohio Animal Welfare Federation is an approved provider of content which enhances professional competence and aligns with the 5 domains of the CAWA Exam specifications. Every hour of training equals 1 CE towards CAWA Recertification.
This webinar has also been approved for Continuing Educational Units by the National Animal Care & Control Association (NACA). National certificate holders can submit for credit consistent with the NACA CEU policy located here.
