Jenny Browne and Kristen Trolio are both active in the Greater Cleveland Chapter of the Grant Professionals Association, serving as president and secretary respectively. Join them as they share sources to search for grants, writing and budget tips, and how to build relationships with grantmakers.

ABOUT JENNY & KRISTEN 

Jenny Browne has been a member of the Grant Professionals Association since 2018 and currently serves as president. She has excelled as a grant professional in the last 7 years. Before landing at Youth Opportunities Unlimited as the Foundation & Corporate Relations Manager, she worked for several community organizations as their grant professional, including OhioGuidestone, Grants Plus, and the County Library system. Before becoming a grant professional, Jenny served as a helicopter mechanic in the United States Navy in Hawaii. In 2016, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies at Hawaii Pacific University and wanted to use her education to continue serving her community through writing. 

Kristen has worked as the Director of Grants for Cleveland Metroparks since 2012. As a member of the Park District's Development Team, she researches, writes, and manages grants to both public and private sources at the local, state, and federal levels. Prior to her current role, Kristen worked at Tremont West Development Corporation and Cleveland Botanical Garden. Kristen is a graduate of Cleveland Bridge Builders Class of 2021 and served as President of the Greater Cleveland Chapter of GPA for four years.  She holds a B.S. in Biology from Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana and a M.A. in Environmental Studies from the Maxine Levin Goodman College of Urban Affairs at Cleveland State University.

  • $35 per organization for Ohio Fedmembers with 6-10 program participants 

  • $45 per organization for Ohio Fedmembers with 11+ program participants  

  • $50 per organization for non-members
