This 2-hour live interactive webinar will provide information about crime scene evidence collection in cases of animal abuse. This webinar is intended only for humane society agents, municipal or township animal control officers, dog wardens, police officers, or sheriffs. DanaMarie Pannella, attorney in the firm of Holland & Muirden and appointed prosecutor for animal cruelty cases in many courts across Ohio, and Dr. A. Michelle Gonzalez, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and forensic specialist, will discuss these topics:

  • Conducting a crime scene search  
  • Forensic evidence, including digital forensics
  • Evidence collection and removal
  • Preservation of evidence
  • Chain of custody
  • Communicating with expert veterinarians

REGISTRATION FEE

  • $20 per organization for Ohio Fedmembers with 1-5 program participants 

  • $30 per organization for Ohio Fedmembers with 6-10 program participants 

  • $40 per organization for Ohio Fedmembers with 11+ program participants  

  • $45 per organization for non-members
