Building Better Connections Within the Animal Care Community

Wednesday, December 1, 2021

12:30 - 1:30 p.m. on Zoom

Speaker: Jack Advent, Ohio Veterinary Medical Association

In theory we all want the same thing: animals and people who are well cared for. So why do those in non-profit animal care sometimes find themselves at odds with veterinarians in their community and vice versa? Put another way, how can you be viewed more thru a lens of partnership rather than one of adversary?

This webinar will look at challenges and opportunities to creating a foundation of cooperation and mutual respect between animal welfare organizations and veterinarians in private practice. Plus a look at how the upcoming charitable work provisions in HB 67 can assist in developing good working relationships.
