This 1.5 hour interactive webinar will provide information about Ohio’s animal seizure hearing law, Ohio Revised Code Section 959.132. R.C. 959.132, which is commonly referred to as the “care bond”, “ten day” or “probable cause” hearing, is the initial court process in most animal cruelty cases. This webinar is intended only for officers who are authorized under R.C. 959.132, specifically humane society agents, municipal or township animal control officers, police officers, or sheriffs. DanaMarie Pannella, attorney in the firm of Holland & Muirden and appointed prosecutor for animal cruelty cases in many courts across Ohio, will conduct a mock R.C. 959.132 hearing and discuss these topics:
REGISTRATION FEE
$20 per organization for Ohio Fed members with 1-5 program participants
$30 per organization for Ohio Fed members with 6-10 program participants
$40 per organization for Ohio Fed members with 11+ program participants
$45 per organization for non-members
