About our speaker:
Julie Holmes-Taylor is the Director of Greene County Animal Control. She is the former Animal Control Director for Glynn County, GA; the former Chief Dog Warden/Humane Officer for Butler County, OH; and served for 10 years as a Mounted Patrol Sheriff’s Deputy.
She has been in animal care and control for 31 years. She is a past member of the board for the National Animal Control Association, and a former president and current board member for the Ohio County Dog Wardens Association.
Julie has been an Animal Care and Control Instructor for the National Animal Control Association and has taught at several state animal control conferences in Louisiana, New Mexico, Ohio & Kentucky as well as at HSUS Expo.
She currently lives on a small horse farm with her husband and a whole bunch of animals. She has four wonderful boys (young men) and two grandchildren.
